If you’re looking for some of the best spots in the state, there are a few places you won’t want to miss. One of the most popular diving destinations in the area is the Blue Hole, an artesian well located in Santa Rosa, New Mexico. The Blue Hole is known for its crystal clear waters and diverse aquatic life, including a variety of fish, turtles, and even a resident alligator. Ok, maybe we are joking, but you WILL get very good visibility, crawfish, one catfish, and a couple of carp. The water is just 62 degrees, so you can watch the steam rise In the winter and cool off in the summer. Perch Lake, also in Santa Rosa, offers a sunken airplane and a VW bug.
