About Us
What are we about? Training. We are a training business. We concentrate on providing the best technical and recreational scuba training for you.
We only recommend equipment that’s right for you. We think losing a sale is better than selling you the wrong gear. Once you get to know us, we think you’ll agree that the quality of our training and our attitude toward sales sets us apart from the average scuba business.

I have been diving since 2000 and am a technical and recreational instructor trainer.
My teaching style is a little more laid back than most other technical diving instructors. I will show you the right way to do things, but I’m also not going to jump right in and correct you when you make a mistake. I find that letting students have the time to find their mistakes and correct the mistakes themselves often results in quicker results for the student as they have to work out what’s happened and fix it underwater. That results in real learning, not just on how to do the skill, but how to actually problem solve during a tech dive, while under a bit of pressure and stress (everyone is stressed when they are being evaluated!).
While I’m not a GUE instructor, I have coached and trained several students who went on to achieve tech passes in fundies. I’d say I’m more Bogarthian than Hogarthian, but good buoyancy and trim is universal (or at least it should be!). There’s no course you’ll take with me that just meets minimum standards. Be prepared to be challenged.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me somewhere (preferably warm!) with at least two tanks strapped to me.
