Shipping Policy

(Effective May 26, 2025)


1. Order Processing

  • Cut-off time: Orders placed before 2 p.m. Mountain Time (UTC-07), Monday–Friday, begin processing the same day.
  • Handling time: Please allow 1–2 business days for in-stock items to be picked, packed, and handed off to the carrier.
  • Weekends & holidays: Orders received after the cut-off, on weekends, or on federal holidays ship the next business day.
  • Back-orders & pre-orders: We will email you an estimated ship date within 24 hours of purchase. You may cancel at any time before the order leaves our facility.

3. International Shipping

  • International orders may be available, but must be made by telephone.
  • Customers are responsible for all customs duties, VAT, and brokerage fees. These charges are not included.
  • Some products (e.g., high-pressure cylinders, hazardous materials) cannot be exported due to carrier or regulatory restrictions.

4. Order Tracking

A shipment-confirmation email with your tracking number activates when the label is created. Tracking may take up to 12 hours to display movement.

5. Delivery Issues

Lost packageIf tracking stalls for 7 days (domestic) or 15 days (international), contact us—we will open a carrier claim and, once approved, send a replacement or refund.
Damaged on arrivalPhotograph the packaging and product, then email info@vikingdives.com within 48 hours. We will arrange a prepaid label and send a replacement or refund.
Returned to sender / wrong addressWe’ll contact you upon receipt. Re-shipping is billed at actual cost; unclaimed orders over 90 days are deemed abandoned and may be donated, resold, or recycled.

6. PO Boxes, APO/FPO, & Remote Areas

  • PO Boxes and APO/FPO are served via USPS only.
  • Remote area surcharges (per carrier definition) are passed through at cost.

7. Shipping Insurance

All shipments include standard carrier liability (US $100 for UPS/FedEx, US $50–100 for USPS). For high-value orders, you may add third-party insurance by calling us.

8. Restricted Items

Compressed gas cylinders, lithium batteries, and certain dive chemicals ship ground only within the continental USA and cannot be sent to international, Alaska, Hawaii, or PO Box addresses.

9. Holidays & Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, natural disasters, labor strikes, or events beyond our control, but we will do everything reasonably possible to help locate or re-route your parcel.
